How to use this tool
Convert audio to MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, Ogg, Opus, and more. The format list also includes less common options; additional settings offer compatible audio encodings. For video input, choose an audio track, export every track as a separate file, or mix all tracks into one audio file.
Steps
- Add audio or video. After track detection, choose one track, all tracks separately, or a combined mix.
- Choose a format, quality, sample rate, and mono or stereo. Opus uses 48 kHz, WMA is capped at 192 kbit/s, and Vorbis uses variable quality.
- Select Convert audio, wait for processing, then download the resulting files individually.
Useful for
- Preparing music for a player
- Extracting audio from video
- Exporting recordings as WAV or FLAC
- Converting multiple files
Limits and accuracy
- Up to 200 MB per file, 500 MB and 50 files per batch. Speed and available capacity depend on your device; uncompressed output may require much more memory than the original.
- Some files may be unsupported. Protected files cannot be converted. Keep the tab open until conversion finishes.
- Repeated lossy encoding may reduce quality; FLAC and ALAC cannot restore detail lost in MP3. Channels are mixed to the selected mono or stereo. Artwork and some metadata may not be preserved.
